Travis Ford, CFP®
Travis Ford brings over 14 years of insurance and financial experience to Wallstreet Group. Travis provides personal attention and service to clients seeking a secure financial future through growth and protection of their savings. His specialties include retirement planning, long-term care planning and investment management. Travis is a member of the Missouri State Board of Accountancy (which regulates CPAs in Missouri), appointed by Governor Jay Nixon in 2014. He is a trustee of the Missouri Council on Economic Education, which supports personal financial education throughout Missouri. He is also a board member of the Missouri Insurance Education Foundation, which seeks to improve understanding of insurance among Missouri consumers. Travis brings to his practice more than a dozen years of personal finance consulting and advocacy. He previously worked in consumer protection for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration. Travis graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Journalism degree. Travis’ Missouri insurance licenses include Health, Life and Variable Contract. His securities registrations are Series 7 and Series 66. Travis lives in Jefferson City with his wife Jennifer and their two children. They have been members of First Baptist Church since 2002. In his spare time, Travis enjoys handyman work, staying fit and playing bass guitar and drums in the church band.
