Travis Ford brings over 16 years of insurance and financial experience to Wallstreet Group. Travis provides personal attention and service to clients seeking a secure financial future through growth and protection of their savings. His specialties include retirement planning, long-term care planning and investment management. Travis and his wife Jennifer co-teach the high school personal finance class at Lighthouse Preparatory Academy in Jefferson City. Travis is a member of the Missouri State Board of Accountancy (which regulates CPAs in Missouri), appointed by Governor Jay Nixon in 2014. He is also a board member of the Missouri Insurance Education Foundation, which seeks to improve understanding of insurance among Missouri consumers. Travis brings to his practice more than a dozen years of personal finance consulting and advocacy. He previously worked in consumer protection for the Missouri Attorney General’s Office and the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration. He graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Journalism degree. Travis’ Missouri insurance licenses include Health, Life and Variable Contract. His securities registrations are Series 7 and Series 66. Travis lives in Jefferson City with his wife Jennifer and their two children. They have been members of First Baptist Church since 2002. For fun, Travis loves his job, handyman work, staying fit, being with family and friends, and playing bass guitar, drums or whatever instrument they need him for in the church band.
