Dr. David Stevens
Dr. David W. Stevens is a lifelong resident of the St. Francois County and currently resides in Farmington with his wife Christin. His wife is an elementary teacher and has been employed by the Central School District in Park Hills for over twenty years. His oldest son, Blake, is an attorney and also teaches, his daughter, Lauren, is a Speech Language Pathologist, and his youngest son, Logan, is a junior at Missouri S&T in Rolla majoring in Chemical Engineering. Dr. Stevens is a 1972 graduate of Leadwood High School. He received his Bachelor of Science, Masters of Arts, and Educational Specialist degrees from Southeast Missouri State University and a Doctorate of Education from St. Louis University.
Dr. Stevens worked in the field of education for 35 years, including 27 years in the field of educational administration in public schools. During his tenure as a public school employee, he served as a teacher in the West St. Francois Co. School District and as an administrator in the Arcadia Valley School District, North St. Francois Co. School District, and Central School District. After retiring from public education, Dr. Stevens was employed as a full-time professor in the graduate program in the College of Education at Southeast Missouri State University. He also served as an adjunct professor for Southwest Baptist University and Missouri Baptist College. Dr. Stevens is currently employed with Wallstreet/Acrisure.
